How to sell Flea Market Merchandise

Want to sell flea market merchandise every day? It is quite relaxing to sit in the sun and sell all your used or new goods. Counting change and talking to customers is really an easy task if you think about it. Most likely, your wondering if selling at flea markets can benefit you. The average person can earn $100-$1,000 per day in profit. The key to flea market selling is keeping most items at low prices, and having a variety at your vendor. Before doing all this, it is a good idea to get your sellers permit first.

Step1
In order to get into the gates of the flea market, you will be asked for your sellers permit. To get a permit, contact your State Board of Equalization. They will usually provide a seller license on the spot so you won't need to wait weeks for the mail. Make sure you keep track of all your orders in the form they give you.

Step2
Look over a flea market guide online. This will help you learn all you can about selling goods.

Step3
Buy your merchandise at wholesale prices. You can find all your wholesale supplies online. Make sure most are in the $1-$15 range as people are more apt to buy if your offering a bargain.

Step4
During the end of a flea market, sellers often do a price cut when it's almost closing time so you will be competing with other sellers. Instead, do this in the beginning of the day when more people are around. You'll still make profit off what you sell and plus you won't have competition.

Step5
Flea market selling requires some organization on your part as well. Keep special receipts, bags and your money in a particular place in front of you. Make sure all merchandise is in the proper places. No one wants to approach a messy vendor.
